Founder · Investigator & Intelligence Professional

I've made more career transitions than most people attempt in a lifetime — and I've had to compete for every single one of them.

Air Force. Patrol officer. Sales management. Back to law enforcement. Nine years as a digital forensics detective. Federal court expert witness. Senior consultant. Every one of those moves required walking into a room where I was the outsider, up against candidates with more conventional paths, and earning the position anyway.

What I learned is that preparation is the variable you actually control. Not your résumé — that's already written. But how deeply you understand the organization, the people interviewing you, and the problem they're trying to solve with this hire? That's entirely up to you, and most candidates barely scratch the surface.

I also spent nine years as a digital forensics detective building the kind of research discipline that holds up in federal court — cross-referencing records, filings, and data sources most people walk right past. InterviewEdge applies that same methodology to the pre-interview research problem. The result is the level of preparation I'd want if I were walking into that room.

Why I built this

In law enforcement, the interview starts before you walk in the door. The candidates who knew the department's recent incidents, the chief's priorities, the culture under the surface — they stood out immediately. Generic answers didn't make the cut, no matter how polished.

That's true in every competitive hiring process. The problem is that most people don't know how to research beyond the surface, or they don't have the time to go deep. They read the About page and call it prepared.

I've spent my career building workflows that create meaningful leverage — tools that give professionals access to the kind of intelligence that used to require a team, a budget, or years of knowing where to look. InterviewEdge is that for job seekers. It surfaces what the company is actually dealing with right now, who you'll be talking to and what they care about, and how to walk in as the answer to their real problem — not just a response to a job posting.

That's the edge worth having.
